Meet Klara Fjällhus at Åre Autumn Market

Building a house in the mountains? We’ll help you find both a lot and a house

Our houses feature beautiful proportions, simple forms, and harmonious materials that allow them to blend into their surroundings. The architecture is thoughtfully designed and inspired by Nordic building traditions and the mountain landscape – crafted to endure for many generations.

Large glass sections provide direct contact with nature, allowing light and views to become part of everyday life. At the same time, well-balanced roof forms, robust materials, and clear details create houses that perform in a climate where snow, wind, and significant temperature differences pose specific demands.

In our mountain houses, you can leave everyday life behind, slow down, and live close to nature – with all amenities in place from the start.

Designed for life in the mountains

Our interiors combine beauty, function, and sustainability. Natural materials that age beautifully and withstand everyday use give the rooms a timeless quality. Nordic wood species, carefully selected colors, and refined details create a harmonious and cohesive expression.

The houses are delivered winterized and complete – with kitchen, bathroom, joinery, and all the equipment you need. The built-in furnishings are manufactured in our factory with natural surface treatments and solid craftsmanship. Integrated lighting, high-quality appliances, and thermostat-controlled radiators
are included as standard.

The result is interiors that harmonize with the house’s architecture and function equally well during a regular weekend as during longer stays in the mountains.
